High Frequency Ballasts

eHID is a significant advancement in electronic ballast technology thatoffers proven energy savings, flexibilityand control thru networking capabilities, and extended lamp life and lumen output :
BETTER LIGHT at a LOWER COST!

  • GreenLight technology uses solid state components to transform voltage

  • Changes the frequency of the power
from60 Hz to 120KHz or higher

  • Because of this frequency shift, the electronic ballast can function much more efficiently and cooler than a magnetic ballast
  • Higher frequencies also reduce audible noise to acceptable levels

Features

  • Increased light output (mean lumens at 90%-95% of initial lumens depending on lamp type)
  • Reduced energy costs by greater than 50% over traditional core and coil magnetic ballasts
  • Increased lamp life by more than 70%
  • Dimming allows for daylight harvesting and further energy reductions
