I have been asked by GreenLight Ventures to respond to the concerns regarding their claims of much lower lamp lumen depreciation and extended lamp life which have been raised by you and your technical staff. It was quite frankly a concern we had at Stackpole when we first ordered the GreenLight Ventures lighting system, but the potential benefits of the energy savings alone more than justified the installation.  The longer bulb life was just a bonus for us.

We ordered and installed the lights in December 2005 and we took light readings at that time and we recorded horizontal readings in our plant to be 47 to 48 foot candles. It has been three years now and we still show readings of 46 to 47 foot candles in those areas after the reflectors have been cleaned, and the energy savings are exactly as GreenLight Ventures stated they would be.   We now have seventy-two 600 watt fixtures installed, which should draw 43 KWH in theory, and are actually consuming approximately 43 KWH on our power consumption report.  This is in contrast to the nearly 80 KWH we previously spent on our old 1000 watt fixtures which gave us a lower average light reading than we have today.
